I’m curious! What is your favorite traditional Holiday appetizer?
Pin now to make later?
Heather says
I’m excited to try this! At first I was wondering when you cook the bacon, since the ingredient list doesn’t state cooked bacon but then it’s just mixed with the aioli ingredients. So it’s two strips bacon, cooked and chopped, right?
Stacie Hassing says
Hi Heather! Yes, the bacon should be cooked and chopped. I added “cooked” to the ingredients where it lists the bacon. Thanks for the catch 🙂 Enjoy!

Stacie, thank you so much for sharing this recipe! I made it as an appetizer for a birthday party and everyone LOVED it. I’m already a little too in love with brussels sprouts, then this dip just took them over the top 🙂 Even my two-year-old nephew couldn’t get enough of them!

I love this! Thanks for taking the time to share with us how much you (and everyone at the party) loved this recipe!
Sarah S says
Are these ok served at room temperature?
Jessica Beacom says
Hi Sarah,
Yes, they’re fine served at room temperature. However, I would recommend keeping the aioli at room temperature for no more than 2 hours. If they’ll be on a buffet table for longer, then you’ll want to set the aioli in a dish of ice to keep it chilled.
Danielle says
I love bacon, but I’ve decided to stop buying it for personal conviction reasons, but I really still want to make this recipe. Would it taste ok if I omitted the bacon??
Stacie Hassing says
Yes, feel free to omit the bacon.
Jess says
Suuuper tasty side dish! I love all things brussels sprouts and I’m very excited to make this again!

NANCY POPE says
Can frozen brussel sprouts be cooked in oven
Jessica Beacom says
Hi Nancy,
You can cook frozen Brussels sprouts in the oven but they’re likely to pretty soft and won’t caramelize or crisp up as a fresh sprout would.
Heather says
I served these last year to my Bible Study group and they LOVED it! They wanted more! I made them again when it was my turn to bring snacks and this weekend I’m making them a third time for an Oktober Fest party, as requested by my sister. Just wanted to thank you and let you know, THEY ARE A HIT!
ps: the Horseradish mustard is not optional for me! It’s so delicious!
Jessica Beacom says
I just love this so much!! Thank you for sharing!!
Nancy Gedik says
I agree Heather, the horseradish sauce was phenomenal. I added extra horseradish!
